Mount Wills Summit Live Weather

Access real-time weather data directly from the Mt Wills Summit Hut, sitting at 1,757 metres above sea level in Victoria’s High Country.

Having travelled the Omeo Highway and hiked in the Mt Wills and Tallangatta Ski Club area on several occasions, it became clear that much of the online weather information available is likely estimated from nearby stations such as Falls Creek rather than from Mt Wills itself.

I reached out to DEECA to see if live data from the Summit Hut weather station was publicly available and decided to share it below for anyone else that might find this useful.

The equipment is operated by the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) and published on the MetOffice website.
